Prohibiton : Insanity of Nitish kumar

Prohibition an autocratic act : Sometimes ruler act in whimsical manner , prohibition in Bihar was sheer example of such act . When ruler fail to keep his promises made to people ,he playfully act to divert the attention . what one will eat or drink is a personal choice unless this choice infringe personal liberty of others or adversely affects interest of the society at large . wine consumption is in practice since the period immortal . a drunkard may create trouble at public place but for that we have the law. what false excuses have been placed by Mr. Nitish is the health hazard and violence in family but for too we have law ,if he was more serious,some stringent clauses may be added or amendment would have been made . Government never implemented laws meant to maintain law and order conditions . Rash driving,stalking ,nuisance at public places are common features . What the Government, whether central or state, do uttermost is to impose higher rate of tax to discourage consumption of wine or tobacco . these archaic practice is in vogue since long . No survey was conducted  as to what extent these measures are effective . Data reveals  higher rate of tax failed to achieve the purpose to deter the users. Rather higher rate of country liquor opened an opportunity for illegal manufacturing ,some times spurious liquor  proved fatal , manufacturing spread like cottage industry . at every village and mohalla such illegal breweries are functioning under the nose of administration . what the worst Mr. Nitish  did was complete prohibition ,I don't know who gave him idea , definitely a sane person can't advice to sudden  restrict the use of anything which one was used to. This prohibition opened floodgates of  good opportunity for illegal businesses to unemployed people and liquor mafias. The insane leader deployed whole administrative to implement prohibition at any cost . punishment was made extremely severe without considering how this will ruin the career of  a youth made accused in such cases .
It was draconian law imposed by an insane ruler . No nation in the world is free from alcohol and where it is banned in Islamic nation some other similar drug or herbs are in  used .
Three evils are considered the social evils , Prostitution , Gambling and alcohol . Only the awareness is a way to restrict or at least contain them. there are several measure if Government is really serious but the question is who will advise the leader surrounded by flatterer .
