कुलदीप सिंह सेंगर निर्दोष है

It collapses when the truth itself has no procedural protection.""

How can we even imagine a law-abiding society when it's built on lies and fraud?
Supreme Court Of India
UP Police
Sengar has been granted bail.
This is not a moment for celebration.
The real question is:
why did an innocent person have to go to jail in the first place?
This question is directed not at any individual, but at the system—at our institutions, including the judiciary.
We must also reflect on those countless individuals
who spent their entire lives behind bars
due to false testimonies and fabricated cases.
I am a lawyer.
I am bound by the rules, discipline, and dignity
of the judiciary as an institution.
Yet, speaking the truth is also a professional and moral obligation.
I am not showing disrespect to anyone,
nor am I questioning the credibility of any court or authority.
I am only highlighting procedural shortcomings,
so that public faith in the judiciary,
the executive, and the police are preserved and strengthened.
The harsh reality is that
a significant number of people lodged in prisons
are later found to be innocent.
Since Independence,
thousands of innocent individuals
have suffered imprisonment
due to false testimony and flawed investigations.
Even today, in many cases,
FIRs are not properly registered.
Police investigations often lack seriousness and fairness.
Money and influence frequently dictate outcomes,
reducing the police to instruments of power
rather than guardians of justice.
The judiciary is vested with powers
under provisions such as Sections 94 and 348 of the BNSS.,
yet these tools are often underutilized.
This post is not directed against any person.
It is a call for introspection, accountability,
and systemic reform—
so that justice is not only done,
but is clearly seen to be done.

It collapses when the truth itself has no procedural protection.""
